Quito,
Ecuador: Located in Ecuador’s lush and rainy Andes Mountains, Quito
is home to nearly 2 million inhabitants. Relatively clean and orderly for a
major Latin American metropolis, Quito nonetheless shares many of Lima’s
urban problems, though on a lesser scale. Quito has better urban management
than Lima, but economic inequalities remain striking.
